Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia Lee Majury (nee Hillock) on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 81 years. Loving wife of the late Gilbert “Gib” Majury. Mother of Sherry Insley and Robin Kittle-Gauthier. Grandmother of Daniel Bell, Braedon and Erin Kittle and great-grandmother of Gilbert Bell. Survived by her sister Bonnie Hassen.
Virginia was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 20 years, the Kiwanis Club (the Golden K’s), the RhythmAires, the United Church and was a Brownie leader in Meaford. She was known as the lady with her ‘Piano to Go’ for many years and played piano for Georgian College, Kiwanis Music Festival, the Christmas Fund Broadcast and entertained many people in the senior homes of the Grey-Bruce area on a weekly basis.

Friends are welcome to join the family for the funeral service at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kristal McGee officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce, the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
