September 18, 1940 – August 20, 2023
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Vincenza on August 20, 2023 at the age of 82. After a brief hospital stay, surrounded by family, she made her final journey to join the love of her life, Antonio (2012). Vincenza leaves behind her children Lucia, Gabriele (Lucija) and Giovanna (Francesco). She was a devoted nonna to Luciano and Mia. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. She remains forever in our prayers.
The family would like to thank the 8SE nursing staff at North York General Hospital who made her last days comfortable and serene. The family is indebted to the unbelievable care Vincenza received by her personal support workers and nurses over these many years. They became family. We will be eternally grateful.
Friends and relatives are welcomed to the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 2 pm – 4 pm and 5 pm – 9 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St Norbert Catholic Church (100 Regent Rd).
Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery in the Mausoleum of the Saints (7214 Jane St, north of Steeles Ave W).
