Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincenza Berardi, on November 17, 2023, at the age of 75.
Vincenza was a loving wife of 57 years to Marcello Berardi, a dedicated and loving mother to Gino (Kristen) and Luisa (Peter), and a proud grandmother to Adrian, Luca and Sofia.
A passionate gardener and lover of backyard birds and her ever present friend Sheba, Vincenza’s love for life, family, and neighbors knew no limits. Whether you encountered her on one of her frequent walks around the block with Sheba, or at your doorstep with a basket of zucchini or tomatoes, she always had a smile to share and a friendly word of support and care.
Vincenza will be missed by her brothers Angelo and Nino Covatta, brother-in-law Angelo Colavecchia and sister-in-laws Pina and Anna (Antonio) Berardi, her beloved nieces and nephews Pina, Elaine, and Bruno Colavecchia, Rosetta (Nino), Assuntino (Maria) Covatta, her great-nieces and nephews Roberto, Cara, Francesca, Angelo and Kaila, and her very special friends Claire, Kristine and Katie. She will be cherished forever by her many, many, loving friends, neighbours, and family.
Vincenza is now reunited in heaven with her beloved mother and father, Rosaria and Assuntino Covatta, her sister Incoronata, brother Basilio, and dear nephew Gino Colavecchia.
She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Friends will be received at the McKersie and Early Funeral Home at 114 Main St E, Milton, Ontario on Tuesday November 21, 2023, from 6 to 9 pm.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday November 22, 2023, at Holy Rosary Parish at 139 Martin Street, Milton, with interment to follow at Milton Evergreen Cemetery at 230 Ontario St. S Milton.
