Obituary of Vincent Laurence Jardine
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent Laurence Jardine, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at Toronto General Hospital. Born on August 10, 1943, in Charity, Guyana, Vincent lived a life full of love, family, and cherished passions.
Vincent is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah, and his children: Tony and his wife Michele, Amanda and her husband Tyler, and Nicholas and his wife Jessica. He will be deeply missed by all of his grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with his warmth and kindness.
Vincent is also survived by his brothers Joseph and Gerald, and his sisters Gemma, Bernadette, Verita, Anita, and Judith. He was predeceased by his brother Peter, who remained close to his heart.
An enthusiastic cook, Vincent’s meals brought his family together and created many fond memories. He had a keen interest in politics, enjoyed engaging discussions, and maintained a lifelong love for cricket. But above all, Vincent cherished spending time with his family, who brought him immense joy.
A celebration of Vincent’s life will be held at a later date, where friends and loved ones will gather to honor his memory.
Vincent will forever be remembered for the love, wisdom, and generosity he shared with all who knew him.
