Stojanovic, Vesna:
Passed away on August 28, 2024 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 59.
Beloved wife of Miroslav Stojanovic for 36 years. Loving mother of Vanja (Marcus) and Tanja (Vladimir). Dear Grandma of Luka and soon-to-arrive Ilija.
She is survived by her sister Nina (Tadija) of Germany and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is also missed by her mother-in-law: Angelina Stojanovic, sister-in-law: Andjelka (Zeljko) Maric and her family, brother and sister-in-law Miodrag and Zorica Stojanovic and their sons: Srdjan and Borislav.
Vesna’s favorite memories were vacationing in Cuba with her family. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was very proud of her children and grandchildren.
Vesna’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
