It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of our dear mother and nonna in Barrie, Ontario, Canada on May 11, 2024, at the age of 94 years.
Beloved wife of Rosario Notaro (pre-deceased) and mother to Elizabeth (pre-deceased), Anna Competrini (Corrado), and Norma Zorzi (Dino). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sabrina Lopes (nee Competrini) (Paulo), Christina, Kristen, Justine, Brandon, and Trevor and her great-grandchildren Isabella and Christian.
Vanda enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed. However, the memories of her will be treasured and ever lasting.
The family will receive friends and relatives for a Celebration of Life to be held at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. (Friends may gather after 10am Thursday). Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 11am. Entombment in the Civic Cemetery Mausoleum. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
