Valeda Correia Obituary
Peacefully passed away at Eastholme-Home for the Aged (Powassan) on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the age of 78 years. Valeda was the beloved wife of the late Carl Correia, and the loving mother to the late Mario Correia. She was the cherished grandmother to D’mariano. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Rolly Larochelle (Sandy). Valeda is predeceased by her siblings Emile Larochelle (late Fran), Desneiges Levesque (late Raoul), Theresa Way (late Cleve) and Pauline Bonnet (late Steve). She is also predeceased by her parents Archie Larochelle, and Helene (nee Derosiers) Larochelle. Valeda will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Canada. She lived in Bermuda for 50 years and will be missed by family and friends there. As per Valeda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced in the spring.
