Obituary of Tyler Smith
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, Tyler Richard Smith on April 20, 2023. Tyler is the eldest son of Rob and Lisa Smith, and the older brother of Joshua and Grace Smith. He shared a deep love with Leah Gerrits. He was adored by his grandmothers, Bonnie Smith and Diane Hamilton and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his aunts and uncles; Rick(Donna) Smith, Norrie(Mike) Firby, Donna Smith and Sherry Wood. Tyler will be deeply missed by his many close cousins. Predeceased by his grandfather Ron Smith, his aunt Angela Smith, and cousin Jaden Ella.
Tyler was born on July 18, 2000, and brought joy to the lives of everyone he knew. He had an infectious smile, and a silly sense of humour. Above all, he had a gentle heart and a desire to do good in the world. Some of his happiest times were spent as a counsellor at Pearce Williams summer camp, supporting children and helping them find their way.
We will hear your voice in the wind, and feel your hugs in the warm rays of the sun. Tyler, you will always be with us in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation-burial, Aylmer Cemetery.
