On October 7th 2024, Ty passed away at the age of 27 after losing his long battle to leukaemia, peacefully surrounded by his many family and friends. Ty was born in Cambridge, ON, to Cindy Herrington and Bruce Herrington. Ty met the love of his life (Paige Davidson) in 2015 where they quickly found an inspiring forever love. Excited to spend the rest of their lives together, the two were married on August 17th 2024 in Paris, ON. Ty was an amazing brother to Chad Herrington and Corey Herrington, where they grew up and experienced many of life’s firsts, together. An amazing grandson to Ron and Barb Herrington, Bob and Dorothy Barnard. Predeceased by his loving grandmother, Barb Krueger. Much loved and forever missed dog dad to Cora and Mila, loved and adored Uncle of Jaida, Rowan, Hudson, Miley, Miles, Mya, Nevaeh and Lylah. Sadly missed by his aunts and uncles, cousins, and many close friends. Everyone who knew Ty, knew he had a love for golf, hockey, soccer and gaming, often spending more hours a day on the golf course than at home. Ty will be remembered for his brutal honesty and his love for everyone around him. We could not have asked for a better son, husband, grandson, uncle, nephew and dog dad and we will miss Ty every day. His memory will in the hearts of all those who loved him.
Friends will be received at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm. and Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10 am until time of service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
