In Loving Memory of Tullio Labardo
Tullio Labardo, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 91. He left behind a legacy of love, hard work, and profound family bonds.
Tullio shared a remarkable journey of nearly 60 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Elena, whom he considered not only his life partner but also his best friend. Their enduring love was a testament to the depth of their connection, a bond that transcended words and time.
As a father, Tullio took immense pride in his children, viewing them as his proudest accomplishment. Roberta (Dennis), Stefano (Amy), and Paolo (Annette) carry forward his legacy of love, dedication, and hard work. Tullio’s impact extended beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of those around him.
A cherished Nonno to Apryl, Stephanie, Sabrina, Daniel, and Giulia, and a Bisnonno to Sienna and A.J., Tullio’s warmth and wisdom were instrumental in shaping the lives of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Tullio’s dedication to providing for his family was evident. His hard work and determination were the foundations upon which his family flourished. Whether through his skilled hands as a carpenter or the wisdom he shared, Tullio’s contributions were immeasurable.
In the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him, Tullio will be held dear. His legacy is one of love, resilience, and a commitment to family that will continue to inspire generations to come. If so desired, the family would like donations in honour of Tullio to be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
May he rest in eternal peace.
Visitations for Tullio have been entrusted to the DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. ON. 905.850.9500) and will commence on Friday, January 5th, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated on, Saturday December 6th, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. and conducted at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave., Woodbridge, On.). A Private Family Cremation will follow.
From the moment you enter the Funeral Home, our highly trained and compassionate staff will be waiting to greet and guide you throughout the duration of your visit. We are here to serve our community in all their needs during this time of saying ‘goodbye’.
