STEWART, Trevor passed away peacefully on Monday June 19, 2023 at the Kingston General Hospital at the age of 30. Born on April 21, 1993. Loved by his mother, Carole Smith, and father Gary Stewart, cherished brother to Mary-Claire (Colin) and Rachel along with 2 nephews. Predeceased by his brother Joshua Allen Stewart (1995-1997).
Trevor attended Port Colborne High School, where he was passionate about being on the track and field team. He qualified for the Men 100 Meter Dash, and the Men’s Long Jump – 2008 SOSSA ZONE II & III T&F Championship Meet. After graduating from Port Colborne High School in 2012 he went on to complete an apprenticeship to become a certified roofer. He continued his roofing career while working at Sibbald Roofing. Like his grandfather Les, and mom Carole, Trevor enjoyed fishing and camping. Trevor enjoyed watching many Boston Bruins hockey games with his grandfather Les Smith as they were both avid fans. Trevor has now been reunited in heaven with his grandfather Les, sharing stories about fishing and the Boston Bruins
The family will receive their friends at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on on Tuesday July 4, 2023 at 11 AM to share memories of Trevor followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery
His mom Carole would like to thank all the I.C.U doctors and nurses at the Kingston General Hospital for their care of Trevor.
