It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Trevor Stanley Ballantyne aka “TRAPS” OR “THUNDERBIRD”, Late of Saskatoon, SK on October 6th, 2023, at the age of 37 years. Trevor was born in Prince Albert, SK on September 13th, 1986, to Wesley and Nora Ballantyne. Trevor will be lovingly remembered by his children Rain Cloud Badger & Desmond Ballantyne; his children’s mother Trisha Badger; his mother Nora Ballantyne; his sister Maggie Ballantyne; his brothers Frank Ballantyne, Alfred (Emile) Ballantyne, Clifford Ballantyne, & Lazarus (Jolee) Ballantyne; his adopted sister Jessica Brown; his nieces and nephews Serenity Ballantyne, Britney Ballantyne, Elizabeth Ballantyne, Brandon (Emma) Bathgate, Seth Charles, Jericho Ballantyne, Draysen Ballantyne, & Paul Ballantyne; his goddaughter Serenity Ballantyne; his godparents Karl and Mary Ballantyne; his many aunts and uncles; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Trevor was predeceased by his father Wesley Ballantyne; his nephew Drake Charles; his grandparents Stanley & Ruth Ballantyne; his uncles Clarence Ballantyne & Randy Ballantyne; & his adopted uncle Raymond Ballantyne. A Wake Service will be on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, at 5 PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday October 13th, 2023, at 11 AM at Sturgeon Lake Community Center, Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiant will be John Charles. The Honourary Pallbearers Margaret Charles, Robbie Spence, Dorothy Badger, Billy Turner, Lisa Badger, Dale Felix, Julia Ratt, Tyler Ballantyne, Elizabeth Ratt, Garret Ballantyne, Connie Brooks, Errol Ballantyne, Louisa Beatty, Theodore Wuttonee, Robyn MacKenzie, Harley Ballantyne, Sarah MacKenzie, Paul Ballantyne, Jennifer Brockman, Mervin Badger, James Brown, Lesley Badger, Sidley Brown, Darren Turner, Quincey Bighead, Tony Arcand, Warren Charles, & Keith Longjohn. The Pallbearers Alfred Ballantyne, Frank Ballantyne, Clifford Ballantyne, Dallas Bighead, Lazuras Ballantyne, & Rodney Bighead.
