Trent passed away peacefully on June 19 2024 with his friends and family by his side, succumbing to cancer. Though he spent the majority of his life in pickle Lake Ontario, Trent was born in Cobourg Ontario and moved to Pickle Lake after his children were born. He was born to Dan and Linda Pickett.
Trent is survived by his children Greg (Amanda), Mitchell, and Kate (Shawn), loving partner Valerie Keeash, brother Colin (Trina), Joel, Jen (Jamie) and the true love of his life, his granddaughter Quinn. Nieces and nephews, Danny (Rachel), Kylan(Dayna), Tanner and Taylor. Trent was preceded in death by his father Dan, mother Linda and niece Kiera.
Trent started his career as a masonry in Cobourg and continued in that trade for years, as well as working in construction for decades. Trent continued working in the trades, spending many years driving transport truck and working on heavy equipment up the North Road.
Trent spent as much time as possible fishing with friends and family. Always helping to ensure the fish were cleaned and ready to fry.
While our hearts mourn his loss, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering.
His departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by the entire family and countless others who loved him deeply.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
