Thomas Howard Caron of Chatham and formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully in Chatham on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the age of 65. Tom is the son of the late George & Gladys (Murphy) Caron. Beloved husband of Janet Beresford. Father of Tom Jr., Chris, Tiffany (Reid) and Mark. Grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Brother of Thelma, Harriet and the late Bill, George, Peat and Anthony and uncle to many nieces & nephews. He was a great friend to Doug Beresford. Tom had worked at Campbell Soup in Chatham and WPP in Wallaceburg. He also baked at Country Style in Wallaceburg and liked their coffee above all others. Tom loved travelling to Southampton and fishing at Denny’s Dam. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at First Baptist Church, 99 Thomas Ave (at the end of Napier) in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, July 31 from 11 AM to 1 PM with the celebration of Tom’s life to follow at 1 PM. Interment in Riverview Cemetery at a later date. Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg entrusted with the arrangements.
