In Loving Memory of Timothy James Howse October 19,1961-May 21,2024
It is with profound sadness we have to say goodbye to Tim. He died peacefully in his home with his family. From home to heaven.
Tim leaves behind the love of his life, Marilyn and his beloved sons, Greg and Steve. Also, Hailey Watson, Greg’s fiancé, his father-in-law Bruce Mullen, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many cousins.
Tim was the strongest, smartest, funniest and kindest man that I ever knew. His determination to live gave his family many years of love and happiness.
Tim loved his family more than anything and his home was his heaven on earth.
Tim was passionate about working hard to provide for his family. He started his first job at the age of 12 driving boat for the Vanhee family. He went on to work for his Uncle Bob and Aunt Mary Schnekenburger on their tobacco farm and would often talk about Aunt Mary’s great sandwiches and coffee that she would prepare for morning break and the wonderful hot lunches that Tim was always invited in to enjoy with the rest of the family. He said the crew were great and those were very special days. Tim’s Uncle Jim hired him for many jobs throughout the years. Buttinger’s sawmill, farming his land and logging in the bush. Tim loved all those great outdoor jobs and the special bond he had with his Uncle Jim.
Tim was so excited and proud when his Uncle Don got him on the C&O Railroad. He had so many fond memories and fun times with his railroad buddies.

Tim and Marilyn were high school sweethearts and dated for 7 years. He told Marilyn that he would not marry her until he had a good and secured job. He started at the Firestone Steel Plant in London, later called Accuride. So, he proposed to Marilyn, and they were married July 21, 1984, and started their lives as Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Howse. Tim was proud to work and support his family for 27 years at Accuride. During that time trained to do many jobs, but driving the lift truck was his favourite. He made lots of friends throughout the years working there and was grateful for the fun memories. Lots of overtime worked to make sure his family was taken care of, and extra money saved to take them on vacations.
Later in life Tim, set up his office in the back of their flower shop and they were blessed to work together for many years with the help from their sons Greg and Steve. Memories that Marilyn will cherish forever.
“Tim lives in my heart now and someday he will come and get me, and we will be together again forever.”

A Celebration of Tim’s Life will be held at Tim and Marilyn’s home this summer. Friends and family will be invited when the time and date is determined.
Donations can be made in Tim’s honor to the Children’s Hospital in London or the Ronald McDonald House.
Tim’s family wishes to thank everyone for their kind words and love during this difficult time.
