Thomas «Earl» MacDonald Obituary
(Thomas) Earl MacDonald, husband of (Margaret) Lorraine MacDonald, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 12, 2024.
Earl was born on March 14, 1938, in Stayner, ON., and was cusping his 86th birthday. He was born to Mary (Dickey) and Daniel MacDonald. Earl had five brothers; Allister, Don, George, Dennis, Robert, and one sister, Mary. Earl and Lorraine were married in 1959 and were married for 65 years. Earl was father to Sandra (Curtis), Heather Grass (Michael), and Danielle MacDonald (Stephen Little). Grandfather to Christopher and Justin (Grass), Tyler and Matthew (Curtis), and Jamie (Little).
Great Grandfather to Rory, David, Eliza, and William.
Earl worked in the banking sector and later moved to the automotive industry where he remained a Fleet Manager with Ford until his retirement. Earl and Lorraine lived in Mississauga until 1979 when they moved to Milton, ON. In retirement, Earl was an avid volunteer with the Town of Milton and volunteered with many initiatives including: Voting Marshal, Pan Am games, and the Velodrome.
Friends and family are invited to McKersie & Early Funeral Home for visitation on Thursday, January, 18 from 6-8 pm
or the service on Friday, January 19 at 2:00pm. You are then invited to stay after the service for refreshments and a visit.
