BOOTLAND, Thomas «Tom»
With profound sadness, the Bootland family announces the passing of Thomas (Tom) Charles Bootland. Tom passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Queensway Carleton Hospital. Beloved husband, father and brother, Tom is remembered by wife Charlene, children Sarah, Tommy, Katie and Stuart, sister Linda (Wayne), sister-in-law Debbie, nieces Ashley, Madison and Emma, and nephew Zachary.
Born in 1964 to parents Doris Lorraine and Thomas (both predeceased), Tom graduated from Renfrew Collegiate Institute in 1983 and went on to graduate from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics with a Major in Computer Sciences and a Minor in Classical Studies in 1988. Tom had a successful career as a software developer at Mitel, AppZero, CENX and Ericsson.
Final arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 11:00am-1:00pm, followed by a Funeral Service in the Zohr Family Chapel at 1:00pm.
