Thérèsa “Terry” Gilbert (Thibeault)
It is with heavy hearts the family announces that Thérèsa “Terry” Gilbert passed away peacefully, Saturday evening, May 25, 2024, at Pioneer Manor, at the age of 66. Thérèsa is predeceased by her husband John Gilbert. Also predeceased by her father Alfred Thibeault, her mother Josephine Thibeault (Sanfrancisco), her sister Josephine Lavallee, brother Louis Thibeault and brother-in-law Roland Lavallee.
She is survived by her sister Eva Bujold (Gilles), her brothers Leo Thibeault (Reggie), and Alfred Thibeault (Gisele), her sisters Emily Fournier (Marc), and Melina Thibeault (friend Gilles), sister-in-law Carolle Thibeault and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by John’s three sons, Brent, Darren, John, and his grandchildren.
The family would like to acknowledge the continued care, compassion, and comfort that her aunt Jeanine devoted to “Terry” with visits twice weekly.
Thérèsa and John enjoyed their many trips to the sandy beaches of Grenada and Antigua where they basked in the sunshine and culture. Being avid fans of the New York Yankees, Terry and John made the occasional trip to New York to cheer on their team.
Thank you goes to the staff at Pioneer Manor for their continued compassion, comfort and care, making Terry feel at home for the past 3 years.
As per Terry’s wishes there will be no visitations. A private burial for the family will be announced at a later date.
Donations to a charity of your choice in Terry’s name would be appreciated.
