GAGNON, Theresa (nee Ryan) – Longtime Employee of Pembroke Foodliner – Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 29, 2024 in her 92nd year.
Dearly loved by her husband of 52 years, the late Leonard Gagnon; and her children, Wayne (Judy), Moncton, NB and Wanda (Gary) Bochert, Kanata, ON. Adored Grandma to Emily and Philip Gagnon, and Karla (David) Creech and Ryan (Shannon) Bochert. Proud Great-Grandma to Myles Gagnon, Jackson and Hannah Creech, and Gavin Bochert. Survived by brothers-in-law Bob Dejongh, Deah Gagnon and Ronald (Marguerite) Gagnon. The last of the Ryan family, from the foot of Allumette Island, Theresa was predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Theresa Ryan, brothers Enos (Alma), Wilfred (Cecilia), Christie (Sally) and Mervin Ryan, and sisters Alexina (Bob) Cotnam, Alice (Leo) Godin and Sheila Dejongh. Also predeceased by the Gagnon family, Aurele (Yvette), Valmore (Therese), Arthur (Reina), Anita and Jeannette, and Georgette (Maurice) Beaubien. Loved and respected by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by her many friends.
Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke at 11:00 a.m., with interment in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of the 3rd floor, Pembroke Regional Hospital. Their care and compassion was so appreciated.
