REMPEL, Theodore (Ted) Henry
February 8, 1936 – November 17, 2024 Ted passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years surrounded by his family.
His memory will be cherished by his wife Rita (nee Heinrichs), children Wendy (Khalid), Dean (Catherine), Dot (Gery), and Marnie (Tim), his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
For most of his career, Ted worked with the Edmonton Public School Board. He was very involved with his church community, was a longtime blood donor and enjoyed golfing, curling and playing crib. Spending time with his family was definitely a priority.
Ted’s Celebration of Life is on Saturday, November 30 at 11 AM at First Mennonite Church at 3650 – 91 Street NW, Edmonton.
The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Fanous and Dr. Dalmer and all the Pilgrims Hospice staff for their kind support and care during Ted’s stay.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Ted’s name to the Roozen Family Hospice Centre of the Pilgrims Hospice Society.
