Teresa Marion (LeMay) Johnson was born September 10, 1963 in Port Arthur, Ontario. Terry was the youngest of four children and instantly formed a special bond with her father. In 1969 the family relocated to The Pas, where Terry would spend the rest of her life except for a short time in Winnipeg. Terry and Warren began their life together in 1984 and were blessed with two sons, Denny in 1986 and Jake in 1989. While taking care of her growing family Terry attended KCC (now UCN) and completed the secretarial arts program. This led to employment at The Pas airport for the federal government. When the airport was transferred to the town she began her long career at the pulp and paper mill. She most recently worked at Kelsey School Division and The Grub Box. Besides being a super mom she also became a ferocious hockey mom and spent countless hours in the rinks and on the road grooming her future NHL stars. She made many friends during this period of her life. Terry followed in her father’s footsteps and decided to volunteer for the Trappers Festival. Jumping right in she took over as director for the fur queen competition. This proved to be a mountain of work that began months before the actual event, but the smile on her face during the crowning made it all worthwhile. Terry enjoyed the outdoors and hunted and fished with her family. She was the first woman to have a caribou entered into the provincial record books from a trip North with Warren in 1992. Upon moving into the country her love for gardening became evident. Her flowers and vegetable garden were second to none. On her 50th birthday she received her greatest gift, her grandson Jaxon. The car odometer never stopped turning from her trips west to visit, and she was overjoyed to bring him to the farm for a week to visit his Meemaw and Grandpa.Terry passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Karen LeMay. Left to mourn Terry are her husband Warren, her children Denny, Jake (Shawna) and her precious grandson Jaxon. She also leaves behind brothers Joe, Chris (Daphne), sister Michelle Desautels (Andy), father and mother in law Wayne and Eileen Johnson, sister-in-law Janet Stelmach (Darryl), brother-in-law Trevor Johnson and many nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her constant companions, her dogs Archie and Angus.
