Taylor Harrison Obituary
Passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, September 8th, 2024. Born in Oakville on January 12th, 1994, Taylor James Harrison of Owen Sound was in his 31st year.
Beloved son of Cindy Barton (Geoffrey) of Georgian Bluffs and Richard Harrison (Maureen) of Strathroy. Dear brother with a very special bond to Jenna Barton of Georgian Bluffs, and also loved dearly by his other siblings, Blake Harrison of Strathroy, Josh Harrison of Strathroy, Kate King of Kitchener and Jacob Schmidt of Baden. Cherished grandson of Barbara Kelly, Shirley Harrison and Mike and Marilyn Moore. Taylor will also be dearly missed by his nephews, cousins and friends, especially his longtime cherished and supportive special friend, Caitlyn Donnelly.
Predeceased by his grandparents James Kelly and Richard «Dick» Harrison.
Taylor as a younger boy enjoyed Karate, Paint Ball, playing Baseball and Soccer; this passion for games continued into his adult years as he excelled at Pool and Cribbage (beating friends and family members was always the goal). He was a big fan of video games and loved Anime. His love of Anime inspired many personal tattoos, leading to tattoo art becoming a true passion for him. He also loved body piercings; these gave him a way to express his true self. Our personal favourite tattoo was his arm sleeve of roses. We will dearly miss seeing his smile when talking about his next tattoo inspiration. To bring him peace and tranquility Taylor enjoyed long walks, spending time at Sauble Beach, hanging out at his family home while enjoying the patio and deck views of the lake. Recently he also loved the calming sound of the waterfall near his new home. Taylor had a fabulous sense of humour and was notorious for spinning tales. He was an elaborate story teller and it was always enjoyable to listen to his most recent antics, there was always something crazy that happened and laughter always followed. One of the things Taylor was most proud of was his English heritage, he was a true “cheeky bugger”. He had the most incredible ability to speak in an English accent and enjoyed taking the “piss” out of everyone. He loved using his alias English name of Tyler Rose and he will be forever missed by his loving family. Rest in peace our dear sweet boy, may the Angels in heaven and your Papas embrace you Mate and may you forever know how dearly you were loved.
In keeping with Taylor’s wishes, cremation is taking place. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
