Sylvia Card Choinard passed away with her family by her side at Quinte Healthcare North Hastings in Bancroft on July 25, 2023 at the age of 85 following a lengthy illness. Sylvia Card-Choinard, beloved wife of Don Card, loving mother of Jan Hall of Bancroft and Bill Card also of Bancroft, loving grandmother of David, Sabrina & Bruce and Josh, great grandmother of Searra and Daten and dear sister of Ron of Bayside. Sylvia was born in Bancroft and has resided here all of her life. She and Don married on May 12, 1961 and made their family home here. During that time, Sylvia worked in many differing capacities and was Don’s bookkeeper for his trucking business for many years. She loved to knit and was extremely fond of her cats and horses and loved all animals.
