It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Sylvia Engel Goodson, on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Cherished wife of the late Jack Goodson, who passed away in 1999. Loving mother of Scott (Karin), Anna (Sybille), Joelly (Scott), Tracy (Maxx), and special to her heart, Sylvie, & Stepdaughter Leslie. Proud grandmother of Jacoby, Ethan, Aiden, Ellis, Finley, Sacha, Aaron, and Sidney. Special aunt of Lloyd, Colin, Egan, Adam, Kirk, Ross, and Joanna. Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Nettie Engel, and by her siblings, Jerry, Donny, and Marlene.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Mountain View Section, Mount Royal Cemetery, Outremont. Shiva at Tracy’s home Tuesday following burial until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sylvia’s memory may be made to the Montreal SPCA, (514) 735-2711.
