Peacefully at Georgian Triangle Hospice on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Hans Gerd Frischmuth 2018. Dear mother of Sonya Frammartino (Joseph) and Frances Gleis (Carsten). Cherished grandmother of Carina, Cory, Andrew and Nicolas. Remembered by her sisters Frieda (Norman), Lydia (Magnus-deceased), Teresia (Karl) and Maria (Peter). Predeceased by her brothers Edmund ( Regina), Guenther Karl (Glenna). Sylvia will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville, Ontario on Friday May 31 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
A tree will be planted in memory of Sylvia in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
