On Monday, June 10, Suzanne, in her 81st year, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Sue leaves behind her beloved husband of just under 60 years, Jim. She was a cherished mom to Scott (Susan), and Gary (Michelle), adored grandma to Emily, Bobbie (Rob), Evan, and Sara, and precious sister-in-law to Val, Judy, Darryl, and George. Sue was predeceased by her siblings Bev, Bud, and Jeanne, and missed them all dearly.
Perhaps Sue’s greatest gift to her friends and loved ones was her easygoing nature and unconditional love. She thoroughly enjoyed just hanging out with people, especially if card games were involved! She loved cleaning but hated cooking (except for her annual vacation cookies). She loved to travel, especially if it took her somewhere warm. Sue was sweet, hilarious and a “real character,” and we will keep her in our hearts forever.
We would like to express our gratitude for the support from friends at Twenty Place, the wonderful staff at St. Joe’s, PSWs at Bayshore, and Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre.
Those of you who were fortunate to know Sue won’t be surprised that she didn’t want a fuss, so there won’t be a service. However, if you would like to leave a note for the family, you can do so on the Circle of Life website.
