Obituary
ROACHE, Susan Gail – 68 of Lockeport, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Sunday June 9, 2024 at Roseway Manor, Sandy Point. Susan was born in Truro, Nova Scotia and was a daughter of the Late Elijah and Alice (Reid) Hicks.
Susan was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She loved her fur baby Maggie, and loved to socialize. Her career stretched for numerous years starting off at Shoppers Drug Mart in Truro and in later years at Lawton’s Drugs in the Shelburne Mall, where she held a management position.
Survived by her loving husband Myers Roache, daughter; Marcia Ostendorf, son; Mark Bowser and her stepchildren; Jason and Darcy, grandchildren; Arielle, Shayne, Jaycob, Ethan, Nicole, Nathan and Caleb.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Randy Hicks.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. A Public graveside service will take place Wednesday June 12th at 11:00 am from the Lockeport Cemetery (Lydgate), with Pastor Tim Garren officiating. A reception will follow the service at the Lockeport Fire Hall. Donations in her memory may be made to the local Animal Shelter. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.huskilson.net
