June 2 2024 résidant dans la province Manitoba pour le détail des funérailles.

Mary Susan Bedford (Susie), age 75, of Thompson, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the Thompson General Hospital after a short battle with pneumonia, on June 2, 2024. Susie was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on May 19, 1949, to Colleen and John Krueger.
Susan was one of the kindest women to ever walk this earth, and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. She graduated from Grantham High in St. Catharines, Ontario, in 1967. In 1969, she met David, and the two fell in love. They were a match made in heaven, marrying in 1971 and going on to have two children, Noelle and Josh. Being a mother and grandmother was one of the most important parts of Susan’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy. Susan was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who gave her all to her family. She was a kind, caring, and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She always saw the sunny side of things and never complained. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Susan was a source of inspiration to us all, and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Susan’s life may seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time she stayed here. Susan’s laugh and giggle were infectious, and her energy was contagious. Her outlook on life was pure and uplifting. She was a master at Scrabble and an avid NASCAR fan, so much so that Sundays were revered for Race Day. Her love for Mickey Mouse, playing cards, cross-stitching, and diamond painting were among some of her favorite things to do.
Not a day went by without Susan talking about how much her children and family meant to her — her family was arguably her most important achievement in life. Susan is survived by her loving husband Dave, her daughter Noelle (Bob) Philippe; her son Josh Bedford; her grandchildren Reese (James); Abbi; Ashton St. Pierre; great-grandchildren Amara St. Pierre-Perch; her nieces Laura (Scott) Thompson; Allyson Robertson; her brother Colin (Marg); sister-in-law Bev (Ed) Koziej; Neen Bedford; and all her great-nieces and nephews and countless friends. She was predeceased by her sister Irene and her parents John and Colleen Krueger.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Susie’s name to World Vision. Mom had a huge heart and always wanted to make sure others were taken care of.
In My Life – The Beatles
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
