Steve passed suddenly at his home in Caledon on Monday August 28, 2023 at the age of 76.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Jeannette. Loving father of Terry-Lynn (Derrick), Steve Jr (Sharlene) and Nicki. Proud grandfather of 9 amazing grandchildren: Tristan, Austin, Taylor, Ethan (Carley), Serena, Jaime, Eric, Brandon and Zachary. Great grandfather to Eli, Jasper & Fern (Ethan) & Jasper (Eric). Adored by his furry grandpets Zephyr and Brody.
Loving brother to Gord, Keith (deceased), Rick, Sharon (deceased), Cathy, Barb, Ken, Brad, Susan, Nancy (deceased), Robert and Terry.
A celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 1:00 pm -5:00 pm at
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 449, 1267 Queen St W Alton, On L7K 0C4
He will always be remembered for his good-natured soul and unforgettable laugh and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
A tree will be planted in memory of Steve in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
