Obituary of Stanley Green
A resident of Windsor, formerly of Kingsville and Leamington, Stanley John Green passed away peacefully at The Village of Aspen Lake on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the age of 92.
My heart is broken for the loss of my loving husband and best friend to Kathleen (nee Jones). We had a beautiful life together and you will always be in my heart.
He was the son of the late Stanley Montegue & Florence (nee Wood) Green.
Predeceased by his siblings, Phyllis, Vera, Stella, Ronald & Richard
Remembered always by his children, Barbara Humeniuk (Mike), Robert Green (Mary Jane) and
Grandfather of Kim (Terry), Douglas (Laura), Julie (Brad), Brandon (Cherrie),
Great-Grandfather to Jake, Abby, Melina, Alex, Julien, Ben, Cameron, Charlotte, Connor and Kayla.
Stanley will be missed by his cousin Trish Walsh and many nieces & nephews.
Step-Father of Richard Watson (Shirley), Lorine Basile (Sam) and Margret Aquino and partner (Cary Tremblay).
Step-Grandfather to Frankie, Katrina, Maria, Sophia and William
Brother-in-law of Bernie & Vern Gannon, Veronica & Ken Cowan, Pat & Susie Jones, Linda & Fred Jones.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to their friends who helped them through this difficult time; Jerry Zandbergen, Joanne Gelinas, Danny Stach, Frank Sparks, Jackie & Phil Rice and dear family friend Edna Cross and to Mrs. Nini for keeping Stan in your thoughts and prayers…..
Stan was a successful businessman and was the proud owner and operator of SM Green Plumbing & Heating for many years..
The family will forever be grateful to the team of Aspen Lake for their caring nature during Stan’s time there. A special mention to Dr. Gervais, Dr. Chan and so many wonderful healthcare professionals for their compassion and expertise. Thank you to Rev. Steven Amorin for providing Stan with his last rites.
In keeping with Stan’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service in memory of Stan will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home, 1525 Highway 3, Oldcastle with visitation from 11:00 am until the Service time.
In memory of Stan, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or to a charity of one’s choice.
