It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Stanley Morris, peacefully, in his eighty-seventh year on Friday February 23rd, 2024, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Bernice Morris for sixty years. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Rhona Morris and Eldad Halachmi; Joanne Morris and Warren Gornitsky; Dr. Randi Morris and Brian Bloom; and Edward Morris and Karen Pinkas. Proud grandfather of Nadav and Anna Halachmi; Jessica Itzcovitch and Johny Wasserlauf; Itai and Ayelet Halachmi; Zachary Itzcovitch, Eyal Halachmi, Jackie Itzcovitch, Samantha Bloom and Ashley Bloom. Caring brother and brother-in-law of Rita Leiner and the late Jack Leiner, the late Joyce Morris, Sandy and Arthur Zack and Jerry and Sephie Segal. Stanley was a brilliant man. He had a PhD in theoretical physics, was a retired associate professor at Concordia University and an entrepreneur at heart. He was kind, compassionate, generous and devoted to his family and community. Many thanks to his loving care giver Neth Rada who showed unparalleled devotion over the last many years and sincere gratitude to Dr. Michael Bouhadana for his exceptional care. Funeral services from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street west on Monday, February 26th at 1:00 pm. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch cemetery, section Poale Zedek, de La Savane. Shiva at his home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. until Friday.
