Passed away peacefully with family by his side on November 12, 2023.
He is now reunited with his loving wife, Rosemary (Nov. 12, 2020). Devoted Dad of Stan, Brian, Susan (Wayne), Frank (Nadine), and Colleen (John). Proud Papa of Rod (Tammy), Tonya (Stephen), Tracy (Brad), Wayne (Karleen), Tiffany (Tom), Melissa (Rey), Larry, Lyle, Jason (Kali), Jared, Jaiden (Conner), Samantha, and Ashley. Great-grandpa of Connor, Keara, Logan (Payton), Owen, Mattie, Claire, Jack, Lucas and Edward. Son of the late Louis and Clarice Hamelin. Predeceased by siblings Lawrence (Theresa), Herbert, Nelson (Jeanette), Frank, Shirley (Bob), and Vince and all his siblings-in-law from the Allen family. Survived by sisters-in-law Rose Allen, Madeline Hamelin, and Debbie Hamelin. Dear uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Dad was a man of few words and even fewer passions. First and foremost, he loved his wife and family, but they were very closely followed by his love of driving truck.
Many thanks to his caregivers at Aspen Lake. Donations in memory of Stanley may be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation or to the Hospice of Windsor.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm at Families First Funeral Home in East Windsor. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
