1937-2024
Stanley Bliss Fawcett, 87 of Petitcodiac passed
away Thursday, July 4, 2024 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Killams Mills, he was a son of the late
Percy and Greta (Lounsbury) Fawcett. Stan retired after 23 years with
Cement Cartage Trucking where he enjoyed hauling and parking the B
Trains. He also enjoyed travelling, bowling and getting together for
coffee.
He is survived and sadly missed by his wife of 63
years Bernice (Dobson); children Helen, Bliss (Lisa), Terry (Janet)
and Derek (Krista); grandchildren Brandon, Meghan, Katie, Josh,
Jordan, Jenna, Jess, Camden, Connor, Adam, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, and
Christopher; twin brother Sterling (Ann) and chosen brother Allen
Doyle. Besides his parents Stan was predeceased by his sisters
Marjorie and Edith and brother Vernon.
Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury Funeral
Home, 3350 Route 106 (506-372-4800) with visiting Sunday July 7 from 6
– 8 pm. The funeral will be held in the chapel Monday, July 8 at 11
a.m. Interment at First North River Cemetery.
The family wish to thank the doctors, nurses and
staff of units 4400 and 5100 at the Moncton Hospital and a special
thanks to Dianne L. Also, to Lynn and Caroline for time spent with
Stan.

Food Bank or charity of choice would be appreciated by the
family.
