Obituary
It is with broken hearts that the families of the late Stanley Patey announce his sudden passing at the Health Science Complex, in St. John’s, NL, on Thursday, February 16th, 2023, at the age of 67 years.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 39 years; Norma nee Parsons, his sons; Troy (Vanessa), and Thor, the love of his life his life his grandchildren; Daniel, William, and Rebecca, his siblings; Lou (Dorothy), Andrew (Leanne), Richard (Ruby), Rob (Robert), Lennie, Geraldine (Barry), Sarah, Nancy, Jennifer (Joe), and Jean (Guy), his father-in-law; Maxwell Payne, he will also be missed by his coffee drinkers, and cards buddies, a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family, and his special friends. Stan was predeceased by his parents; Elizabeth and Leonard Patey, his sister; Peggy, and mother-in-law; Daisy Payne.
The Family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday February 19th, 2023, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Parsons Pond, NL.
The Funeral Services will be held in St. Peter’s Anglican Church at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 20th, 2023, in Parsons Pond, NL, with Rev Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the St. Peter’s Church Cemetery in Parsons Pond, NL.
A special thank-you to the Doctors, nurses, and staff at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, The Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, and the Health Science Complex, in St. John’s, NL.
