It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of their mother and beloved wife of the late Leslie Charles Sloman of Fort Saskatchewan. Mary Ann passed away at the Fort Saskatchewan Rivercrest Care Centre on December 28, 2022, at the age of 88 years.
She will be forever remembered by her sons: Daryl (MaryLynn) of Edmonton, Kevin (Patricia) of
Sherwood Park, Gordon (Celestine) and Shawn (Colleen) of Fort Saskatchewan; her grandchildren: Kimberley (Tyler) Sloman, Bradley (Marissa) Sloman, Kayla (Frazer) Sloman and Rayleen (Bryce) Sloman; her great-grandchildren: Oliver, Oaklen and Jordan; and her brother Lideo (Pauline) Orlando.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband Leslie Charles Sloman in 1991; her father
Natale Orlando (1962); her mother Ada Orlando (1992); her sisters Fannie Morris (2006) and
Elsie Orlando (1938); and her brother Daniel Orlando (2009).
A Memorial Service will be held at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Fort Saskatchewan
on Friday January 6th, 2023 at 9:00 AM with Father Carlos Nunez officiating.
Interment will follow at the Fort Saskatchewan Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
