Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday, November 14, 2024, Siegfried Leng of Russell, age 79. Loving husband of Christine Leng (nee Styles). Loving father of Dr. Kirsten Leng (Kevin Young) and Elissa Roy (Leng) (Donald Roy). Dear brother of Gunter Leng (Manjula). Dear brother-in-law of David Styles, Barbara Styles and Marikay Styles. Siegfried will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Octavia Young-Leng, Nicolas, Sebastian and Alexander Roy. He was predeceased by his parents Kurt and Hilda Leng, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Jim and Ruth Styles, his brother Dietrich Leng (Heide) and his grandson Max Young-Leng. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 139 Castor Street in Russell on Saturday, November 30th from 1:30 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 3 p.m. A reception will follow. Spring interment of cremated remains will be at the St. Lawrence Valley Union Cemetery in Long Sault. Donations to The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute – Leukemia Research or the Bruyere Palliative Care Program www.gifttool.com/donations/Donate?ID=2198&AID=3270 would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
