Shirley Rose, 89, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the West Perth Village, Mitchell on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
Beloved wife of the late Leonard Rose whom she married on September 18, 1953. Dear mother of Murray Rose, Ken Rose (Deb), and Allan Rose (Betty). She will be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Jean, Laurinda, Marlene and Marion Anderson and Carol Gethke. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Warren Rose, daughter-in-law Jan Rose, parents Francis and Evelyn Anderson, brothers Francis (Jeanne), Ross, Dr. Alvin J., Laverne, and Brian Anderson, sister Olive in childhood, brothers-in-law Don Rose (Adell) and Ron Gethke and nephews Larry Anderson and George Rose.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Sunday, July 14 from 2-4 p.m. and at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brodhagen on Monday, July 15 from 10:00 -10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Brodhagen Community Centre. Memorial donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or West Perth Village would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
