It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Duke, at the age of 79 on August 28th, 2024, surrounded by family at her home. Shirley will be cherished and lovingly remembered by her husband, Vince Duke, daughter Meredith Joy (Dave), grandchildren Ashley Wheeler (Ryan), and Braden Barrie, her great granddaughter Lili, sister Joan Grills (Don) and predeceased by brother Paul O’Neill (Florence). Shirley’s memory will be held forever in our hearts.
Sincere thank you to the palliative team at Hospice Kawartha Lakes.
A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street Lindsay, on Saturday September 28th, 2024 at 12:00pm with a service at 1:00 p.m.
Donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be greatly appreciated by the family.
