Sherrie Marie Young Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sherrie Marie Young of Piccadilly, otherwise known as blossom, at the Health Science Center, on December 10th, 2024 at the age of 42 years. Sherrie was born in Stephenville on November 12th, 1982.
She leaves to mourn: both of her girls: Sara of Burgeo and Emma of Stephenville; Parents: Lisa and Arch Durnford, of Burgeo; and her sisters: Melanie of Corner Brook, Dana (Alonzo) of Burgeo. As well as a large circle of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Sherrie was predeceased by: her grandmother Gladys; her grandfather Curtis; her uncle Joe of PEI; and baby cousin Jack of Nova Scotia.
Sherrie loved the outdoors, and was especially happy having her sidekick Sara, by her side. From fishing together to skating and sliding, and doing things for people, whether she knew them or not. She had a heart of gold. We will miss her dearly.
Following her wishes cremation has taken place.
