After a lengthy illness with loving family by her side on Sunday July 7, 2024. Shelvy (Cooke) Pollard passed away peacefully in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Ronald Pollard. Dear mother of Lorie Pollard, Westport; Karen (Tim) Seed, Portland and Janet (David) Mohan, Amherstview. Nana to three grandchildren Bryan, Ethan and Alex. Great grandma to Grayson. Sister of Almeta Truelove, Donnie (Norma) Cooke, Joan Boothby, Linda Rinehimer and Holly (Barry) Purdy. Predeceased by brother Ken Cooke.
Special appreciation to the medical and administrative staff at Maple View Lodge in Athens, ON for their wonderful care of our dear loved one.
Friends will be received at the Lyons Funeral Home, Westport Wednesday July 10 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday 11am at St. Pauls Anglican Church, Westport. Interment: St. Pauls Anglican Cemetery, Westport. Donations to the St. Pauls Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family. Online condolence available at www.lyonsfunerlhome.ca
