Obituary of Sheila Ann Forsyth
Forsyth, Sheila Ann (1937-2024). Passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday March 27, 2024. Sheila is survived by her son, John David Forsyth (Lisa). Grandchildren: Stephanie (Adam), Holly (Ben), Rebecca (Dave), Mitchell (Sabrina), Spencer, Chad and Cole. Great grandchildren: Ezra, Jaelyn and Carter.
Sheila is predeceased by her husband John Edward Forsyth, sister Patricia Mackay and parents Harold James Vanstone and Rebecca Ruby Vanstone (nee: Cash). She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, Bob Mackay and Pauline Flannery.
Born and raised in Kitchener, Sheila was a loving wife and mother. Sheila enjoyed many lifelong friendships, actively involved in arranging annual Courtland Avenue Public School reunions and regular visits with her closest ‘gal pals’. She worked at Economical for many years, and valued giving back to her community as a member of the Rotary Ann’s, Granite Club, Westmount Golf club, and on the K-W Symphony volunteer committee.
Sheila’s family express their most profound gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care provided by the PSW team from Tamcare in Kitchener.
Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life taking place in the chapel of Erb & Good funeral home on Thursday April 4, 2024 at 1pm, followed by a reception in the Fireside room. A private family interment of her cremated remains will have taken place prior to the celebration of life.
