Hoelscher, Sheila
With heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Sheila Marie Hoelscher on Sunday, October 8, 2023 in Fergus, ON at the age of 78 years.
Loving mother of John (Lori) Hoelscher and Bryan Hoelscher (Amanda). Cherished by her grandchildren Jamie, Logan, Madison, and Aliyah. She will be fondly remembered by her siblings Audrey MacCandless, Sharon (Murray) McCutcheon, Lorne (Pat) Birmingham, Eva Valade (Bruce), Kathleen (Bill) Green, Murray (Karen) Goodwin, Bonnie Deeks, and Peggy Birmingham (Bob). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sheila is preceded in death by her husband Harry, son Dwayne, her parents, William Birmingham & Kathleen Armstrong, and brother-in-law Gerald MacCandless.
We are sincerely grateful to our family and friends who have given us support and comfort during this time of our loss. Also, we would like to thank two special PSWs (Anne and Fe) at ParaMed for taking care of Sheila over these past few years.
As per Sheila’s wishes, a private family service will be held with interment in St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Conestogo.
As expression of sympathy, donations to St. Mary’s Cardiac Care or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated and may be made through the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
