Gignac, Sharon Patricia Anne (née Oblin)
After a courageous battle with cancer, Sharon passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 14, 2023. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Michael, daughter Chantal Bradley (Josh) and son Daniel MacIsaac (Ara), step children Lila Gignac (Ryan), Ginette Gignac, and Clayton Gignac, her mother Patricia and predeceased by her father Maurice. Proud grandmother to Maëlle, Elyse, Aiden, Brinae, and Zeke. She will be missed by her siblings Carol (John), Stephen (Joanne), and her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sharon was a dedicated employee for the city of Kitchener for many years where she met a great number of people through different community social events. She loved gardening, camping, going to the cottage, watching her granddaughters’ gymnastics, and travelling to different countries. Spending time with family was important to her and she loved to plan and decorate for parties and get-togethers.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will take place at Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge) on Wednesday, May 24 from 5:00-8:00pm. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Terry Fox Foundation.
