It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to
our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Sharline Edna
Rose Tibbo who passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024, at the age
of 72.
Born on July 24, 1951, in Toronto, York Co., Sharline’s
journey was colored by love from its very beginning. In the company of
her beloved husband, Earl Freeman Tibbo, she nurtured a family filled
with kindness and devotion. Together, they welcomed two children into
their lives: Paul Tibbo and Chuck Tibbo.
Sharline’s loving husband, Earl passed on December 1, 2016,
and has since been eagerly awaiting her arrival, undoubtedly eager to
engage with her on his trademark conversations about the
weather.
Sharline leaves behind her loving son Paul, along with his
children Jade-Lynn, Dean, and great-grandchild Maverick. Chuck and his
wife Laura Jo, along with their children Dawson, Charleigh, and
Keiden, will forever hold dear the memories of her gentle spirit and
endless affection.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal
funeral services. Instead, Sharline’s remains will be peacefully
reunited with those of her beloved husband, Captain Earl Freeman
Tibbo, in the tranquil waters of the beautiful Strait of
Canso.
Sharline’s legacy of love and kindness will forever light up
our lives, may we find comfort in the countless cherished memories she
has gifted us and draw strength from the enduring love that continues
to connect us.
In Memoriam, donations could be made to the St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or the RK
MacDonald Nursing Home.
