Obituary
With immense sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful Shaina, at the young age of 41.
Predeceased by her grandparents Liz (Burke) and George Murphy and Sis (Pike) and Bert Power; uncles Eric, Gordon, Andy, Tony Murphy and Randy Power; and Shaina’s fur baby, Jack.
Left behind with broken hearts and cherished memories are her loving parents, Patrina (Power) and Ted Murphy; brothers whom she loved dearly, Tyler (Jenna), Sheldon and Alex (Natalia); precious niece and nephews, Rheya, Parker and Konstantin; special friend, Shawn C. Reid who loved Shaina with his whole heart; as well as many special aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many, many friends.
Shaina was the funniest person in any room, making any situation better, even if somewhat inappropriate. She was a carer, knowing exactly what to do in moments of need. Shaina was the best and coolest auntie, even making the brushing of long and curly hair bearable for her niece, Rheya. Couch snuggles will never be the same in her absence, and there will be a little less laughter in our hearts. There will forever be a piece of us missing, but we’ll remember her with the fondest of memories.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced.
