Scott Allen McDonald – of Knoxville passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. Scott attended Ohio University in Athens, OH and Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Scott is preceded in death by his father, Ed McDonald.
He is survived by his loving mother, Sandy McDonald; loving partner, Tim Rounsaville; very special friends, Lori and Kelly McClellan, Brenda and Patrick Divellis, and Tracy Hubbard. Thank you to all of the wonderful Hospice Nurses and other Staff that have cared for Scott. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UT Hospice Services, 4435 Valley View Road, Suite 114, Knoxville, TN 37917. Contributions may be made to a Memorial Fund in care of Sandy McDonald, PO Box 555 Louisville, TN 37777.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 PM on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Fountain City United Methodist Church gym, 212 Hotel Road, Knoxville, TN 37918 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Don Hanshew officiating.
