SCHOTT, Sandra Rosa Martha
Sandra passed peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the age of 76. Jesus wrapped his welcoming arms around her and took her home. She is now free from illness and united with her beloved parents and siblings.
Sandra is the daughter of the late Edward Schott and Alice (nee Heinrich). She is survived by brothers Don (Carol), Willard (Milly) and sister-in-law Merlyn, and predeceased by siblings Hilda (Andy) Jansen, Ervin (Gladys), Eva (Walter) Heimpel, Howard (Beatrice), Clifford (Verna), Harley, Herbert, Shirley (John) Heipel, Bruce, and Dianne (Gerald) Brohman.
Sandra (Sandy) was a dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews and a Great-Aunt to many more.
She will be deeply missed by her best friend Milly Kiffman and niece Patty who was by her side through the ups and downs.
Sandra enjoyed her early years on a farm near Erbsville and then lived in Waterloo. She worked at North Waterloo Farmers Mutual for many years, managed a broomball team (while knowing nothing about broomball), and really enjoyed her cars and her travels including 9 trips to New York City and a tour of Europe.
Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 796 Erbsville Rd, Waterloo on Thursday, June 22 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s cemetery. As per Sandra’s wishes there will be no visitation but there will be a time for gathering and sharing memories at the church after the interment. Memorial donations to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Erbsville, or the MS Society may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
