Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Doyle (Kenworthy), who bravely fought a three-year battle with ovarian cancer. She passed away peacefully, aged 58, on February 12, 2024.
Born in England, Sandra embarked on a journey of adventure in her early twenties that lead her to move to Canada. It was there that she met Jason Doyle, the father of her two children, Lauren and Lexie. Although Jason Doyle is no longer with us, his humour and influence remained eternally in her heart.
A dedicated real estate agent and brilliant renovator, Sandra found joy and fulfillment in her work. Her integrity and attention to detail helped countless individuals find their dream properties. She will be remembered for her legacy of beautiful homes.
Sandra continued her love for travel throughout her life, exploring new destinations across the globe. Everyone that was lucky enough to travel with Sandra knew that she had a fearless spirit, loving to explore new cultures and cuisines without hesitation. Her adventures were filled with laughter and a sense of bravery that inspired those around her. She had an appreciation for music and cherished the experience of attending countless concerts with her friends and loved ones. On the rare occasions Sandra had free time, she could be found up north where she loved to ground herself in nature.
Sandra will be deeply missed by her daughters, Lauren and Lexie, who remember her as not only a loving mother but also as a pillar of strength and encouragement. She instilled in them the values of independence, guiding them to become the individuals they are today. Sandra encouraged her daughters to pursue life fearlessly, always supporting their dreams with unwavering love and confidence. Her spirit will be forever cherished by her daughters, who will carry on her legacy of kindness, strength, and caring for others. Above all, Sandra treasured her role as a mother to her daughters. Their bond was unbreakable and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being.
She also leaves behind her mother, Carol, who held a special place in her heart, and she joins her beloved father, Bill. Sandra will also be missed by her brother, John, and she is reunited in spirit with her dear brother, David, who preceded her in death.
Sandra was so proud of her family and she will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, sister-in laws, and extended family in England, who held a special bond with her.
Sandra will also be missed by her extended Canadian family.
Throughout her courageous fight, Sandra remained a beacon of positivity and strength. Her optimism and resilience touched the hearts of many and she will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service for Sandra’s life will be held on February 22 at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada, in honour of Sandra and her courageous battle.
May she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
