Sandra Creighton Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Chapman House on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Born in Kenora on December 15, 1945, Sandra Patricia Creighton (nee Robertson) of Allenford, was 79 years of age.
Beloved wife of the late Lorne Creighton. Loving mother of Laura Wilson of Newmarket, Susanne Malins of Barrie and Paul Carlin of Nanaimo. Cherished grandma of Lilianne, Genevieve, Sharlynn (Sohvi), Kai and Rajon. Dear sister of Harold Robertson (Liz Townsend) of Halifax. Sandra will also be missed by her niece Jean, nephew Kelvin and by her cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Florence Robertson, by her aunt Laura Dixon and by her uncle Harold Davis.
An avid gardener, Sandra loved to be digging, planting and tending to her gardens. She went back to school after moving to Allenford in 1986, getting her college diploma in Hospitality. Sandra spent 27 years working at the Best Western Inn on the Bay until her retirement in 2017. She loved a good meal and experimenting with all kinds of new recipes.
In keeping with Sandra’s wishes, cremation is taking place and a private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
