Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Tillsonburg on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Samuel “Sam” Patterson passed at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret (MacMurchy) for 65 years. Proud and loving father of Scott Patterson ( Cathy) of St. Thomas, Dean Patterson ( Jennifer) of London, Terry Patterson ( Rhonda ) of Waterloo and Kara Johnston of London. Cherished grandfather of Chris ( Laura) , Sam ( Katherine), Murphy
(Lauren ) , Molly ( Ryan), Callum, Cian, Andrew ( Kaitlyn), William, Sarah and great-grandchild Arlow. Dear brother of Willow Chambers
(John ), Terry (Deb) and William of Ireland. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Sarah (Maghie) Patterson and his sister Patricia Cotter. In keeping with Sam’s wishes, cremation has taken place within private family arrangements. Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Society may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the Patterson family.
